My Personal Journey with Silence

I remember the first time I truly surrendered to the silence during meditation. It was in Portugal, I was on a rooftop in the Algarve. I had spent time contemplating why it was so hard to “just be happy” and how living from the “pain body” as described by Eckhart Tolle was a choice. I gave permission for this contemplation to be followed by silence. It was as if I had stepped into another dimension, one where the noise of the world faded away, and all that remained was a deep sense of peace. In that moment, I felt a profound connection to something greater than myself – call it the universe, the divine, or simply the essence of being. It was a moment of pure clarity and presence, and it changed the way I approached meditation and my life forever. I received the message, “Suffering is absolutely necessary, until it isn't.”
